HAVE YOUR SAY.

Over time many people find it a bit hard to understand who Social Workers are. As NASWU we believe that a Social Worker is a qualified professional with Social Work skills, knowledge and values which are used to facilitate the helping process so as to positively enhance social functioning of individuals, groups and communities guided by professional principles.

As a membership based organization, we believe that Social Workers are widely spread in a number of Social Service sectors from helping Children to providing gerontological services (the aging), from medical social workers in medical institutions to remedial services such as refugees and resettlement areas and from Social Work Educators and advocates, the list is endless.

We therefore give you this opportunity, to share your experience in the field of Social Work as we believe it will be able to help the community appreciate our impact in making individuals, groups and communities live dignified, meaningful and respected life.
