NASWU UPDATES.

A team of Experts mainly composed of practicing Social Workers and Legal advisers (Practicing Lawyers) from both the ministry of Gender, Labour and Social Development and Ministry of Justice and Constitutional Affairs, will today Friday 21st August 2015 meet to discuss on how to intensify advocacy and finally realize the establishment of Social Work and Social Welfare professional Act.

This team consists of 10 experts in total who volunteered to be part of this committee following a stakeholder meeting which was held at Piato Restaurant Kampala on the 16th July 2015.

As NASWU, we shall do everything possible to see that our Vision “To Promote Professional Practice, National Development and Transformation” is achieved.
